FA Cup: Liverpool-Everton, Man U-Wolves in third round draw

With just four balls left to draw the two rivals remained in the pot, but Micah Richards and Tony Adams kept the two apart.

AFC Fylde of the National League, the lowest-ranked side guaranteed a third round spot, were drawn away to Premier League Sheffield United.


Liverpool, who last won the FA Cup in 2006, host neighbours Everton at Anfield.

Holders Manchester City landed a home tie against fourth-tier Port Vale, while Manchester United will visit Wolves, the club that knocked them out of last season's competition at the quarterfinal stage. Whoever is in charge of the Gunners has a tricky test to navigate in the FA Cup as Arsenal have been drawn to face Leeds United - who sit top of the Championship.

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham go to Middlesbrough, and Aston VIlla head to Craven Cottage, where Fulham await.


Leicester City will host Wigan Athletic in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup following Monday night's draw.

Ties to be played January 3-6.
