49ers: Notes from Week 13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens

But considering how Jackson had been tormenting other defenses, Whitner believes the 49ers did an excellent job against the Ravens quarterback. Both of these teams played really hard throughout.

Garoppolo completed 15-of-21 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown. The Ravens designated Trawick as one of two players eligible to return from injured reserve, and he'd be eligible to play for the first time since Week 2 when the Ravens (10-1) play at the Buffalo Bills (9-3) on Sunday.

Jared Goff threw for 424 yards and two touchdowns as the Los Angeles Rams thrashed the Arizona Cardinals 34-7 and the Denver Broncos edged out the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20.

Kendrick Bourne was the leading receiver in this game for San Francisco with three receptions for 42 yards receiving. After taking over on their own 35, QB Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense would mount an impressive drive, whittling the clock down to three seconds and maneuvering well into Tucker's range.

But as far as losses go, it was another "solid" one if you believe in such things for the 49ers, and now it's time for them to head to New Orleans to see the 10-2 Saints in what could be a very similar game to the one we just saw here. He had a career day with 146 yards on 19 carries and a 40-yard touchdown run.

LeSean McCoy and Darwin Thompson also found the endzone in the second half as the Chiefs improved to 8-4. Now that the 49ers are 10-2 (tying New Orleans), the surging Seattle Seahawks can match their record with a win over the Minnesota Vikings in prime-time.

Robbie Gould made a 32-yard field goal for the 49ers in the third quarter to tie the game at 17 and the rest was history. They're favored by just 2.5 points per BetMGM, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is notoriously spotty in night games (he's gone 7-13 in his career on that stage, and is 3-4 there since joining the Vikings) and laid an egg in this same venue in these same circumstances previous year, losing 21-7 to the Seahawks on Monday Night Football in early December. While losses are never ideal, San Francisco should still be encouraged by their performance against the Ravens.
