In late 2015, West insisted that he had presidential aspirations in 2020 while giving an acceptance speech at that year's MTV Video Music Awards, saying, "I don't know what I finna' lose after this". I had one of those encounters that changed me from night to day overnight. "I love that attractive journey as well, and I think that's such a great example for our kids".

"Follow God" begins playing the lyrics, "Father I stretch", as West's father closes the door and West begins driving. He said he plans to make his manufacturing entirely eco-friendly, moving it all to South and North America in the next two years, including at his 4,000-acre ranch in Cody, Wyoming.

In conversation with Fast Company senior writer Mark Wilson, West referenced everybody from filmmaker Wes Anderson to Leonardo Da Vinci to Jesus Christ, but the focus was mostly on fashion.

Later in the talk, West used his optimistic outlook of how many people the proposed relocation would employ to reiterate his intention to run for president in 2024.

"When I run for president in 2024", he repeated, prompting more laughter, "we would have created so many jobs, I'm not gonna run".

West goes on to say, "Somebody only close to you could get you like, off your... What I'm saying is, when y'all read headlines - 'Kanye's insane, ' this and that - one in three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also 'cause they can't say nothing, they got no opinion, they're so scared!", West told a bemused audience.

The song debuted on his latest album Jesus is King which dropped on October 25, almost one month after its anticipated release date. They've got no opinion! I'm not in good shape. "People not wanting to sit with me.' I had to just give it up to God", West said. Steyer's campaign press secretary, Alberto Lammers, said Murphy wasn't authorized to make these offers and that the campaign outside of Iowa didn't even knew this was happening.
