"Red Dead Redemption 2" is one of the highly anticipated open-world adventure games to arrive on PC. It has been reported that switching off a pair of cores on the CPU would work as a potential bypass to this problem but that is something only a few players could afford to do since the system will seriously struggle to run the game on the remaining 2 cores (considering the fact that most of you still own a quad-core processor).

Clear Rockstar Games Launcher profile details. I've scoured Reddit and Twitter and everything in between for tips on how to get the Rockstar Launcher and Red Dead Redemption 2 to play nice, to no avail. It appears that beyond the improved graphics and unique offering, players are now experiencing many issues. The support tweet indicates that users should restart the launcher to get the updates and try again.

The issues picked up right from the beginning when the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" launched last Nov.5. Considering the size of the game, the download issue is very frustrating. The error message "Red Dead Redemption 2 Exited Unexpectedly" is what many players are greeted to when they attempt to launch the game.

The bug bounty program is available through HackerOne and offers payouts up to $10,000 for those that can identify vulnerabilities across multiplatform versions of Grand Theft Auto V, GTA Online, Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online, the iFruit mobile app and the Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion app. Polygon's Samit Sarkar shared his experience with this issue. "Red Dead Redemption 2 does not have ray tracing". It fixes the bug that prevents preload decryption, crashes, and also errors when Red Dead Redemption 2 is launched from Epic Games Launcher. Rockstar Games mentioned that the patch rolled out on Wednesday aims to fix crashing issues. Some "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC players are now reporting that the update just made the game worse.
