Earlier this week, Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, spoke to military families at the Broom Farm Community Centre in Windsor.

Nick Bullen, co-creator and editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, discusses his new documentary 'Meghan For President?' and whether Meghan Markle, the Hollywood actress-turned-Duchess of Sussex, could find herself pursuing a political role in the US.

After chatting with Harry about football and his time in the army, he was delighted when Meghan came over and waved to his granddaughter Shelby, 21, who said she "couldn't believe the Duchess called her name".

Camilla, patron of the Poppy Factory, also missed an event last night in London due to the infection.

There was special treatment for eight-year-old Poppie Hutton from Armagh, Northern Ireland, who was with her grandparents at the plot commemorating the Royal Irish Regiment.

Monty's granddaughter Shelby, who lives with her mother and grandparents in Basildon added: 'I'm patriotic and I love the royal family - my granddad is so proud that I support him'.

"My daughter Aeris is the same age as Archie and we talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl - she's just a normal mum and it was like talking to a friend", Amy Thompson said. And I think once they find their feet and - they're still finding their way - I think once they find their way they'll be absolutely fine.

"Along with what Meghan and Harry have said about media scrutiny, this image shows that they're pulling into themselves".

As the chimes of Big Ben rang out at 11am, a two-minute silence was observed by all those present.

Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, will this weekend join Prince William and Kate Middleton to attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

And on Sunday, the family is expected to attend the annual service and wreath laying at the Cenotaph.

Baby Archie made his first official debut as a royal during the couple's 10-day tour of Africa, where he "found his voice" and was making more noise than ever before, according to his proud parents.
