In an appearance on today's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Maroon 5 singer and former Voice coach doesn't seem to have any regrets about his surprise departure from NBC's talent contest after 16 Voice seasons (he announced his departure last May after the 10-year stint).

"I do miss it but also, I don't miss how much I had to work", Levine said.

This fall, Gwen Stefani, who previously coached in season 12, has returned to fill the vacancy.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jonas said he was excited "to be a part of The Voice family". Reacting to the news of the cast change, OG coach Blake Shelton revealed that he had "some concerns" about Jonas replacing his girlfriend. "I will be joining as [a] new coach on The Voice". The Kingdom actor and award-winning singer will be joined in the upcoming spring cycle of the series alongside returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton.

"Just to be clear, Blake, I'm going to kick your a-", Jonas said while looking into the camera. Joe was a coach on the 7th season of The Voice Australia in 2018. "I was just constantly working for so many years - very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed and all that, but [I wanted] to be able to spend time in this moment with my new, young family, and just have the greatest time ever". I am coming for you.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC. I was like, 'Oh my god, it's working. Fans got their first taste of a Levine-free Voice season when the latest batch of blind auditions recently kicked off Season 17, and the reactions were fairly balanced between Levine's diehard fans and those who just wanted to move on.

"I don't know if I have the courage to confront her again and perform music in front of her".

Surprisingly enough, the self-proclaimed "stay-at-home dad" said he's been up to "very little" following his exit but confessed, "I really do miss it".

"Now, I'm a stay-at-home dad".
