Rebekah Vardy has slammed Danielle Lloyd for making "false claims" about her following her social media spat with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney.

The "detective" who told Coleen Rooney to trap Rebekah Vardy.

By "recruiting", Becky was referring to claims that Danielle requested her to search out her a wealthy footballer boyfriend, with a supply telling The Solar: "Danielle mentioned she was depressing and bored and determined for her previous showbiz life again - she wished Jamie to ask his footballer mates in the event that they wished thus far her".

Rebekah Vardy has publicly labelled such a claim as "bollocks" and said: "I'm not saying anything more until we've finished looking into this situation properly".

The 48-year-old declared: "I do have a theory on this with just, just being cynical, slightly about the whole thing is, whatever you think about either one of those people, I mean you know I don't know either of them - I think if, Rebekah Vardy's not going to gain anything, she doesn't need the dosh, she doesn't really need the publicity".

Sources close to Rebekah say she is preparing to hit back and is working with her lawyers to prove she had nothing to do with the leak.

But she wasted no time in responding and suggested it must have been someone with access to her Instagram account who leaked information, rather than her.

Rooney detailed the entire sting operation in a tweet she posted on Wednesday morning.

The 37-year-old, who is now eight months pregnant with her fifth child, has shared a message from an Instagram user, telling her: "F**k u dirty sly c**t I hope that baby dies within you BITCH".

"For a few years now, someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing "The Sun" newspaper of my private posts and stories", she wrote in a statement released across her social media channels. We're sure you all know what went on by now but if not, here's what Coleen had to say.

In an attempt to find out who was responsible, Rooney explained how she blocked all users from viewing her Instagram stories, except for one person, and spent five months posting a series of false stories to see if they ended up being leaked to The Sun, which they eventually did. The story about gender selection in Mexico, the story about returning to TV and then the latest story about the basement flood in my new house. "It's definitely come from Becky's account so who was it?"

A spokesperson for Rebekah said she is consulting with her legal team over the accusation. I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them.

You can understand why Rooney would have a tough time believing that, especially after she went through such trouble to finally get to the bottom of what was happening.
