Young Fan Meets Mohamed Salah After Colliding With Lamppost

A young Liverpool fan Louis, was trying to greet one of his idols, Salah, The footballer was going in his vehicle and the boy realised, so he ran after him to try and attract his attention.

Louis Fowler ran after Salah's vehicle after the player left the club's training ground and, in the process, ran into a lamp-post and hurt himself.

As fast as one of his spins on the Anfield pitch, Salah turned his Bentley around and raced back to check Louis was okay.

Louis and his upset brother were brought back home by neighbours, but to everyone's amazement, they were shortly joined by Salah himself, when his auto swept into the close where they live.


As Cooper called an ambulance, Salah, who had watched the accident, returned to check on his young fan.

The pictures were shared on social media by Joe Cooper, their stepfather.

The 11-year-old was taken to Alder Hey children's hospital shortly after running into the lamppost, where he had to have his nose re-set.

'Mo asked if the boys were all right and gave them a big hug which was what they both needed.


Media reported that while running beside Salah's vehicle, Louis crashed into the lampost and fell to the ground with blood coming out of his nose.

"Mo Salah was one of the last ones to come out and the boys were waving at him in a bid to catch his attention", Joe told Liverpool Echo.

He added: "We were still trying to work out what had happened when Mo arrived". It was a touch of class on Mo Salah's part to turn round and actively come looking for the boys.

"He [Salah] was really apologetic and saying sorry for something that wasn't his fault. He is a global superstar and had no need to stop today, we're just so thankful he did".
