The Realme 64-megapixel camera phone will arrive in India before Diwali, which means before October 27. As per a new teaser by Realme uploaded on Flipkart, the company is set to launch these devices on August 20 at 12:30 PM. These new 5-Series handsets will most likely replace the existing Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro.

Along with this confirmation, the company has also posted a teaser video showing off quad rear cameras with LED flash next to it and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The company upgraded dual cameras with Realme 2 series, and will now upgrade to four cameras with Realme 5 series.

Apart from confirming the launch, Realme highlighted that upcoming device will have a secondary sensor with wide-angle 119-degree field of view, tertiary sensor and a super macro lens with 4 cm focal length and fourth sensor with a portrait lens.

Then, there is a third camera exclusively for taking macro shots so you can go very close to the subject without losing focus. We'll definitely be testing the cameras on the Realme 5 for ourselves when we check the phone out.

The microsite on Flipkart reveals that the Realme 5-series phone is launching in India on August 20.

They are directly jumping to a quad camera system with Realme 5 series to stay ahead in the curve.

It would be interesting to see at what price it launches in India since Redmi K20 with the same processor was criticised for being overpriced.

Realme had showcased its quad-camera smartphone at an event last week. Then there will be an ultra-wide sensor, a SuperMacro lens for closeup shots and one for taking Portrait shots, which will be the Depth sensor.

Also, Realme phone could arrive with a new sensor as Realme X Pro, an upgrade to its previous version "Realme X". The primary sensor will feature a wide aperture and large pixel size to produce enhanced low light images. We expect like every time, Realme is going to price its latest series very competitively and the price tag should hover around the Rs 10,000 or Rs 15,000 price range.
