As the England worldwide looks ahead to a return to action following injury, he also confirmed that his recovery is going well.

Frank Lampard says Chelsea's strikers need "belief" as Michy Batshuayi nears a first-team return.

Batshuayi has not featured in the opening two matches, in which Chelsea have collected one point, but played for the under-23 side in midweek and remains an integral part of plans for the season.

"I would take him, but we had no chance" the Norwich City manager said, half jokingly - Farke knows Pulisic for his time with Borussia Dortmund; although they didn't work directly together, the German coach is sure of the U.S. worldwide potential.

"If we'd have been more clinical in front of goal we possibly could have had three wins", said Lampard. "He worked hard", Lampard said. I used to love practicing my finishing in training, it's what I felt made me lucky at the weekend, and gave me an edge in front of goal. We work hard on the training ground as a team to create and also to finish.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that N'Golo Kante is a doubt for his side's clash against Norwich City on Saturday.

"[If] Tammy's goes in off the post at [Manchester] United it is a different story. They're all in a position where, I hope, two or three weeks of strong training puts them back in the frame for the squad".

"But we can't get too down about that, we've got to stay positive and it will come. We're talking about quality players in terms of our attacking players, so it will come".

"What I have got is great attitudes in the three strikers and the other players", Lampard said at his pre-match press conference. "Rudiger's not fit yet, hopefully for next week".

"We need Michy, we need the competition for up front".

'Those are the only changes from where we were last week.

Pedro missed training earlier this week because of a slight knock but has since trained and is expected to be available against the Canaries.

Norwich were beaten by Liverpool on the opening day of the season but bounced back to beat Newcastle last weekend.
