Musicians also bookend the list in terms of age.

Meanwhile, Taylor has less "stress and anxiety" in her life as she approaches 30. Topping the rundown is singer Taylor Swift.

The magazine estimated the 29-year-old singer's pretax income to be around $185 million-a 131% percent increase compared to the $80 million she reportedly raked in last year. At No. 5, the rankings return to Swift allies with Ed Sheeran, her former opening act and duet partner, who earned $110 million.

Keeping it in the family, Kylie's brother-in-law Kanye West is close behind at number three on the list. Being the only Bollywood actor to grab a place in a list dominated by the west is commendable and we wonder if the actor is now relishing the same success. Forbes reports Yeezy made an estimated US$1 billion in sales previous year alone. The third, fourth and fifth positions were taken by Kayne West, Lionel Messi and Ed Sheeran. Her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour is the highest-grossing tour in USA history, taking in $266.1 million.

Shawn Mendes is the youngest person in the top 100.

However, actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have failed to secure a spot on the list this year.

Kim Kardashian West is at 26th on the list with $72 million, Robert Downey Jr. was at 31st with $66 million whilst Rihanna made it to 36 with $62 million.

-BTS (#43) are the highest-grossing boy-band in the world and the only one featured on the list.

Akshay Kumar is up several spots in the global list from last year's, on which he was ranked 76 with earnings recorded at $40.5 million.

-David Copperfield (#37) is the only magician on the list.
