Unveiled at the mind-melting sci-fi series' official panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, held in the illustrious Hall H where a sea of adoring fans consumed the footage like it was the first and last meal of their life, the Westworld season 3 trailer takes the action outside of the titular park and into territory previously uncharted by the show's narrative.

The new trailer brings back some familiar faces, including Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores, and Thandie Newton's Maeve, who seems to be hosting at an all-new historically-themed park. Season 3 takes us, or at least that's what it looks like, to a world outside of the theme park. You can still watch the teaser trailer here as well. "There are machines in this world but not like us", she says, explaining that they have no mother or father. While the first two seasons were titled "The Maze" and "The Door", respectively, at the panel talk the show creators announced that the third season will be appropriately titled "The New World".

In an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Nolan and Joy revealed that Paul will play Caleb, a Los Angeles-based construction worker wouldn't have had the opportunity to travel to Westworld a la the wealthy Man in Black (Harris).

In the trailer for Season 3, Dolores is shown interacting with people IRL, including Aaron Paul's character, Caleb. Along with the other hosts, she'll experience a "culture shock" - and learn more about the nature of humanity.

"Yes, we did, 100 percent", he said (via EW). "After all they went through to get out of the park, Dolores finally got what she wanted, so we wanted to see how she interacts with the world and what her plan is. We know each other, the way we work, and he's super-supportive of me", she told Marie Claire previous year. On that thematic level, Dolores emerges to figure out what happened to the real West.
