Taylor Swift will headline Amazon's Prime Day concert.

Taylor's album, Lover, comes out on Aug, 23 and Amazon's 2019 Prime Day shopping event kicks off July 15 and will run for a full 48 hours.

Amazon's primary rival Walmart has joined forces with Google to offer pre-Prime Day deals on a range of smart home devices now through July 17.

Yep. The show is for Prime members only. The Prime Day Concert will feature performances from Swift, Dua Lipa, Becky G, and SZA, and will be hosted by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel co-star Jane Lynch.

The concert is being streamed live on Amazon Prime Video starting at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) on Wednesday, July 10. Tay Tay will headline the live show on Prime Video and include her newest singles, "ME!" and "You Need To Calm Down". You can get around the Prime membership by signing up for a 30-day free trial.

Since its inception in 2015, Amazon's Prime Day has evolved from a straightforward "Black Friday in summer" promotion to an internet-wide shopping festival, with an increasing number of Amazon's competitors jumping into the game with their own sweet summer deals-many without the entry barrier of a paid membership.

Tonight, Swift took the opportunity to underline her grievances. The hosts will also spotlight some of Amazon Prime Days' most "unusual items", which viewers will just have to see for themselves.

It's strategic on Amazon's part to host a Prime-member exclusive like tonight's concert a few days before Prime Day itself. Why?

Ebay is holding a sale to compete with Amazon's Prime Day, and it isn't being shy about the comparison.

This evening, Alexa users can also ask, "Alexa, play the Prime Day Concert" or "Alexa, show me the Prime Day Concert" to watch the show on Fire TV or Echo Show devices.
