In other Xbox Game Pass news, Microsoft confirmed that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Hollow Knight, Metro Exodus, and Batman: Arkham Knight are all joining the console version. Of course, this isn't the first time Scarlett has made waves. Microsoft will also be hosting a special E3 2019 edition of Inside Xbox, so be sure to tune back in on Monday to see more games in action. Combined, Microsoft believes that hardware will pave the way for reduced or outright eliminated loading screens in games.

Interestingly, Microsoft states that the SSD will find use as Virtual RAM. Powered by a custom-designed processor, leveraging the latest Zen 2 and Radeon RDNA architecture from AMD, the console will deliver a new level of immersion.

That all adds up to a stated performance increase of more than 40x over current-gen offerings.

The company said it will have ray tracing and frame rates up to 120 fps.

The new Xbox consoles, now titled Project Scarlett, are expected to be available Holiday 2020.

Even better, backwards compatibility features strongly too. "Now, the console streaming service will "turn your Xbox One into your own personal and free xCloud server".

I suspect this generous deal will not last too long, so nab it before Microsoft realizes their mistake.

The tech is being demoed at E3 itself for those in attendance, but we're waiting for details on how it might roll out to end users. We'll bring you all the new developments as they're available.
