The talk show host recently chopped it up with TMZ as she was leaving Los Angeles' Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles with the mystery man she was coupled up with on IG by her side. "Young Kevin and I are fine", Williams says in the video.

"Last night was the most lovely sunset in Sherman Oaks with special people", she captioned the photo, which showed her holding hands by a pool with the unidentified man.

His dad, however, tells the site, "I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally".

"That's not Kevin", she said before calling him "a friend".

Along with some noteworthy hashtags like #sexyman and #oldenoughtobeyourmother, she wrote, "I'll be back for the Hip Hop Festival in August!"

The incident, which took place in a New Jersey parking lot, was apparently over an argument about the divorce itself, and the fact that Sr. was demanding spousal support from Wendy.

"I would ask you to respect our privacy, but I don't respect people's privacy".

Still, even with their reported strained relationship, Wendy Williams remains optimistic about her and Big Kevin's ability to co-parent in the future. Stuff happens, and it's OK.

"Williams also said we will see the family together, "[My son] Kevin's gotta graduate from college.

"I'm really reclaiming my life", she said at one point before giving an update on the status of her split. "Please don't make me cry." the 54-year-old implored to the paparazzi.

"I didn't plan on this but it is what it is ..." I have a very full life. Just four weeks prior, Wendy went on a long rant during her show, after rumors swirled that she was dating a man from her security team. I would ask you to respect our privacy but, please, I don't respect people's privacy; that's why I do the "Hot Topics" [segment on my show]. "Everyone's gotta grow up".

She also vaguely referenced her son's alleged assault against his father and said they'll be fine.
