12' - GOAL! Kelley O'Hara blows past two defenders in the box and Morgan heads it home, unmarked.

What: The U.S. Women's National Team will take on Thailand in Group F play at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup will run from June 7 to July 7.

The defending champions have lost just one worldwide game since July 2017 and have won their past seven in a row, scoring 36 goals in the process, and have not conceded in any of their past five matches.

The USWNT and Thailand last met in a 2016 friendly. The United States carries a 7-1-2 record under coach Jill Ellis. Yet, the score remains goal-less.

Alex Morgan delivered five goals in the match, which was tied for the most in Women's World Cup history with fellow American Michelle Akers who did it in 1999 against Chinese Taipei.

Morgan was involved in the second goal, too, playing a neat one-two with Rose Lavelle before the latter produced a 20-yard effort that Thailand goalkeeper Sukanya Chor Charoenying could only fumble into the back of the net. She was the youngest player on the 2011 World Cup team, scoring a goal in the final match against Japan.

Team USA will face Thailand on Tuesday in Reims, France, in their opening game of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Only Brazil midfielder Formiga (37y 99d) has scored a goal in a Women's World Cup encounter at an older age than Carli Lloyd at 36 years and 330 days.

The team is now tied with Sweden in Group F. The top two teams in the group move to the knockout stage.
