Gods & Monsters, at its very heart, is inarguably influenced by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. "Called Gods & Monsters, it didn't give us much to go on; a gorgeous animated field gave way to a character glad in an ancient Greek helmet and a big ol" sword.

One of Ubisoft's game leaders Jonathan Dumont spoke to Venture Beat about the game. "To do it, you have to venture into the Underworld and defeat Typhon and his minions". What do you think of the game's painted art style? Luckily you'll have some powers to help you, courtesy of the gods. "You will fight Harpies, Cyclops, and other beasts".

"Embark on a journey to the Isle of the Blessed, taken over by unsafe creatures of mythology", said Ubisoft. The game takes place in a wide open world, and will allow players to use powerful abilities granted to them by the Gods of Olympus themselves to battle well known mythological creatures. The journey will be as challenging and rewarding as the destination, and players will emerge as the heroes they were meant to become.

In addition to confirming that Gods & Monsters will be released on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Ubisoft also confirmed that the game will be available on Ubisoft's supported streaming services.
