At E3 2019 yesterday evening, CD Projekt Red revealed some important information about its highly anticipated upcoming open-world action adventure cyber-punk game.

Cyberpunk 2077 finally has a release date, and although it's not in 2019, it is within the next 12 months. Reeves also appeared on stage at the conference. After this stunt, though, I'm ashamed to admit that Keanu Reeves' appearance in the game has swayed me: I'm into it.

We now know that the game will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC 16 April next year.

In the following cinematic trailer we get to see a rather tense moment of the Cyberpunk 2077 story play out - in what looks like the default male character alongside a few key NPCs you meet along the way.

Reeves is playing Johnny "Rockerboy" Silverhand who isn't new to the game's universe.

The latter was a whirlwind presentation of combat and futuristic Los Angeles encounters, along with a hint of a new interface that saw the game's main character, V, warp from a freakish, ice-filled bathtub into a virtual, all-white world that looked like a pathway to computer-connected worlds.
