The same group of hackers had also hacked the accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher in the past.

The hacker writes, "The Indian State, who mercilessly attacks the Muslims fasting in the month of Ramadan, is attacking the Ummah Muhammad in this age!"

The group even posted a tweet condemning the Indian government for its approach towards Muslims. The "Piku" actor has alleged that the hacker had planted adult sites in the "following" section of his account on the micro-blogging site. The hackers also decided to make some changes to Amitabh Bachchan's bio and edited it to say: Actor ... well at least some are STILL saying so!

Prime Minister Imran Khan's photo was in second tweet with caption of "Love Pakistan" along with heart signed emoticon and flags of both countries again while it was also tagged to the premier.

His Twitter biography, which usually reads, "Actor. well at least some still saying so!", was suffixed by "Love Pakistan".

Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter handle has since been restored, but not before netizens took screenshots of the pro-Pakistan messages on his bio and through tweets.

The Mumbai Police PRO was quoted by news agency ANI, "We have informed our cyber unit and Maharashtra Cyber about hacked Twitter account of Amitabh Bachchan". They have begun investigating the matter.

The pinned tweet on Bachchan's account claims responsibility on behalf of the "Ayyldz Tim Turkish Cyber Armny".

The group also tweeted the link of its "official" Instagram page, though unverified, writing "We are waiting for your support".
