"I think our world is going through a lot, obviously. I would say for my generation, specifically, social media has really been bad", she said during a press conference on Wednesday, according to Variety. "I understand that it's unbelievable to use as a platform but it does scare me when you see how exposed these young girls and boys are".

"It's selfish - I don't wanna say selfish, that's rude - but it's risky for sure". "It is unsafe. I don't think people are getting the right information".

"I don't really think that people know my heart", she said.

"I'm grateful I have a platform", Gomez added. "I don't take a lot of pointless pictures I like to be intentional with it". It just scares me. "I'll see these young girls at meet-and-greets". It can be great in moments. How will her lehenga look like, what will her chooda/sankha-pola colour be, will she be the most lovely bride on this planet and many more similar thoughts crowd up a girl's mind during her growing up years. Just remember - negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings.

The Wolves singer has been inching her way back into the public eye over the past few months, and returned to platforms like Instagram in January. Her latest post, shared Tuesday, featured a series of three selfies.

After acing the edgy Barbie look at the MET Gala event, where the actress walked elegantly exhibiting a great style in a Zac Posen couture which made the fans go insane over her sartorial choice, the world is awaiting her look from Cannes again. She said, "They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off". "She's happy to just be with friends".

Mumbai: Actress Deepika Padukone, who will be entrancing her fans across the globe with yet another appearance by walking at the prestigious Cannes red carpet has asked her fans for a suggestion on her outfit choice!
