Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remembered Princess Diana with their post for Mother's Day in more way than one.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first baby into the world on May 6, and the family made their first appearance as a trio two days later when they announced their son's name- Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam told The Sun's Fabulous Digital that as Harry and Meghan "are rewriting the total rule book", it wouldn't be easy to predict when the new parents may share another photo of him.

Princess Diana was remembered in a lovely way on International Mother's Day.

She was photographed with her daughter, son-in-law and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, as the monarch met Archie for the first time last Wednesday.

Several senior royals, including his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William, are due to meet Archie this week.

After CBS was the only non-British network allowed in to capture the unveiling of the royal baby last week, King - who was a guest at Meghan's starry baby shower in NY in February - went to visit the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at their new home, Frogmore Cottage by Windsor Castle.

While Meghan and Harry are said to be keen to be hands-on with their child, you might expect that they would have staff around to assist them.

The stunning photo, in which Queen Elizabeth admiringly smiles at baby Archie, celebrates the joining of cultures, racial heritages and countries.

"He said he's getting used to the baby and how Archie has fitted into family life", she told reporters.

An image was shared on the royal couple's Instagram on Sunday of Los Angeles-raised Meghan clutching the baby's feet over what appear to be forget-me-not flowers.

He also revealed his newborn is keeping him up at night. "These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time 'round, so we wish them all the best".
