James Bond shoot cancelled after actor Daniel Craig suffers from an injury

Filming scheduled this weekend in London has reportedly been cancelled, though it is not believed the delay in production will affect the film's release date.

Helmed by Cary Fukunaga (Maniac), the film will open with James, not on active duty at MI6, kicking back in sunny Jamaica.

Bond 25 will follow the British spy has he faces off against "a mysterious villain armed with risky new technology" while in pursuit of a missing scientist.

'They have an outline of plot, but dialogue is all last-minute. The movies, however, don't go into his dark side as much, probably due to the fact the story wouldn't be as successful as a film. Unfortunately his retirement is interrupted by the arrival in Jamaica of his Central Intelligence Agency friend, Felix Leiter, who persuades him to help rescue a kidnapped scientist. Thus far, the James Bond movie doesn't actually have a title, but it's scheduled to hit theaters on the 8th of April, 2020.

Bond's arch-enemy will be played by Oscar-winner Rami Malek, who starred as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
