Luckily, HBO is giving us a movie about the final season.

HBO has released a trailer for Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, the two-hour documentary that will give audiences an in-depth behind-the-scenes peek of the making of the HBO epic fantasy series' eighth and final season.

The two-hour doco is set to air in the United States on May 26 - a week after GoT's final episode, with an Australian screen-date to be confirmed.

Next week is going to be insane, but at least Game of Thrones fans will be able to decompress with the documentary afterwards on May 26th. To show us where the series has gone, and how it ended, HBO will be airing a new documentary charting the end of Game of Thrones.

The hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" is coming to a close this Sunday, and fans will soon learn the fate of the characters still standing after the bloody Battle of King's Landing.

Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss serve as executive producers on it. Though we are low-key fed up with the show after Daenerys Targaryen's (Emilia Clarke) absurd tirade in Season 8, Episode 5, "The Bells", nothing is going to prepare us for the series finale of the show. "Here we are, at the last table read, and it's like looking around and seeing your family". In the trailer, you can see the cast and the crew doing their final reading and also Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, getting all emotional.
