Most recently, Brooker and Jones presented "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch", an interactive episode starring Fionn Whitehead and Will Poulter, in which the at-home audience could make selections for the characters, resulting in different story paths followed.

So why is this new Netflix season shorter?

Black Mirror season 5 debuts on Netflix on June 5, 2019. Black Mirror does Taxi Driver?

The three-episode season is set to drop on Netflix once again, and if these teasers are anything to go by we're in for one hell of a ride. This episode features Miley Cyrus and Madison Davenport (Shameless).

Judging from the trailer, the episode will see cab driver Scott getting increasingly annoyed by people being addicted to their smart phones - so it's peak Black Mirror, really.

"Smithereens" stars Andrew Scott, Damson Idris, and Topher Grace.

"Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too" A lonely teenager yearns to connect with her favorite pop star - whose charmed existence isn't quite as rosy it appears.

Next up, we have Striking Vipers which features Anthony Mackie (Altered Carbon) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down).

Official synopsis: Two estranged college friends reunite in later life, triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever.

The episode appears to delve into a form of virtual infidelity, exploring similar terrain that The Entire History of You has covered.

So it's ironically no surprise that the tech-centric sci-fi anthology series released three episode trailers less than a week after dropping its first look at its fifth season. Stay tuned for our reviews of season five coming soon.
