Navas has made just nine league appearances for Real this season, however six of them have come since current manager Zinedine Zidane returned to the club.

Time is running out for Gareth Bale as all signs point to a move away from Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil knows the importance of Sunday's fixture as his side look to leapfrog rivals Athletic Bilbao and put themselves in the frame for European qualification next season.

Fox Sports reports that Zidane believes the Gabonese worldwide would be a flawless signing for Real Madrid since the club doesn't want to spend up to 100 million euros to sign Bale's replacement at Santiago Bernabeu.

Bale and Zidane fell out last season before the Frenchman resigned after Real Madrid won the Champions League, offering Bale a fresh start under new coach Julen Lopetegui. "It's what I have to do with all of the players, but it stays internal".

The Welshman's future has been up in the air since Zidane's return to the Santiago Bernabeu a couple months ago.

According to AS, when asked about whether Gareth Bale would feature against Real Betis, Zidane said, "I'm not sure".

"It is the day to day and allows you to do well in the Champions League and the domestic cup", he said. "We will see what we are going to do next year, but at the moment he has had minutes and he has done well".

While Zidane has offered support to the likes of Karim Benzema, Marcelo and Raphael Varane, he has refused to offer assurances over Bale.

Bale has not been on top form since joining the La Liga giants from Tottenham Hotspur a few seasons ago.
