Monster Hunter World and Resident Evil 5 heading to Xbox Game Pass

For Xbox Game Pass Subscription holders Microsoft has now announced some big titles that are coming to Xbox One. Sometimes, those announcements don't do much to excite fans. We're only just in the first month of 2018 and already I can claim that Monster Hunter World might very well be my own personal Game of the Year.

It's quite nice being able to play as many games as you like without having to pay for them all individually, which is why the Xbox One's Game Pass is rather appealing.

It's also worth warning those who sign up to the Xbox Game Pass service with the aim of only spending $1, to be sure to monitor auto-renewal on your account, as Microsoft will be looking to charge the full price for subsequent months.

Still haven't subscribed to Xbox Game Pass? Monster Hunter: World can be tackled by both solo players and groups, with online co-op for up to four players supported, so get your buddies to download the game too.

With the introduction of spring, Xbox Game Pass is adding six new games that you can jump into even when the weather gets nasty outside. Meanwhile, if you've been holding off on playing new chapters in games like The Walking Dead: A New Frontier and Life is odd 2, their addition to Xbox Game Pass makes for a convenient excuse to check them out.

With Life is odd 2, developer Dontnod continues its emotional brand of storytelling. After that, every subsequent month will set you back $9.99.

There's more in store this month.

The impressive lineup includes Prey for Xbox One, which is a reboot developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It all kicks off tomorrow, if you're ready for a new slate of Game Pass titles.
