Marrying Nick Was Unexpected, Priyanka Chopra Says

Actor Priyanka Chopra has said when she started dating American singer Nick Jonas, she never thought that she would go on to marry him. Speaking about why a lot of Bollywood actors choose to not venture out of Bollywood territories; Piggy Chopps said, " A lot of actors that I speak to don't have ambitions to move out of the industry.

"Quantico" actress Priyanka Chopra admits that she just looked at the surface when she got involved with Nick saying, "I judged a book by its cover". The actress said she is proud to be married to a man like Nick Jonas.

She admitted that she originally didn't think she would end up marrying the singer and explained why Jonas has surprised her from the start of their romance. Priyanka further revealed how her husband Nick happens to be the flawless man for her. She got married to him a year ago in India. Ever since their marriage, they have been setting some serious goals and it's evident that they are head-over-heels in love with each other, making us go "awww" nearly every day! I did not want to do stereotype roles because then all you will see is what I already know I can do. She began dropping hints to the group about needing an excuse to cancel her meeting, but Nick wasn't taking the hint. "Now if I have a story I don't feel I am alone anymore - and I am not ashamed of it", the actress said. "I said it thrice", she said. Priyanka said that instead of telling her to not go away, he actually asked her to leave and fulfill her commitment, telling her that he knows how much of efforts she puts into her work and he will never ask her to put that all behind for him. Finally, he took me aside and said, 'Look, I'm not stupid. "And I was just like, 'That's the first time someone's ever done that'".
