Disney+ Streaming Service Details Finally Revealed

The service will launch November 12, with subscriptions available for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year, making it the exclusive streaming home of franchises like Star Wars, Pixar, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Simpsons, and more.

Disney did not confirm to the outlet how much a bundle subscription will cost.

Disney+ makes its long-awaited debut later this year, bringing with it a slew of new original programming that includes a handful of shows set in the MCU. All content will be downloadable from the platform. Disney also provided the first look at the movie in the form of a still image and it features real dogs. The service will also be the exclusive streaming home for films released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2019 and beyond, including "Captain Marvel", "Avengers: Endgame", "Toy Story 4", "The Lion King", "Aladdin", and "Star Wars Episode IX".

Live-action Disney films including Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland (2010) will also be available day of launch.

The presentation included big news for Marvel fans, who can expect to see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprising their roles as Wanda Maximoff and The Vision in the Disney+ series, WandaVision. All Pixar films will be available on the first year of launch, with theatrical shorts, including the Oscar-winning Bao, watchable at launch. Marvel heroes like Falcon, Winter Soldier, and Scarlet Witch are all getting shows, and there will also be live-action spinoff shows for the Star Wars franchise.

The service will come with customized settings and individual profiles, including the option to create a custom avatar with characters from the Disney library.
