The YouTube landscape is much broader than the ongoing tussle between the Swedish creator and Indian music record label.

No doubt May 1 will be a big night for the K-pop sensation as they are once again nominated for top social artist, having won that category for the past two years.

"Boy With Luv" now officially holds the most-viewed 24-hour debut in all of YouTube's history.

Even more wonderful is the fact that BTS not only broke the previous record of 56.7 million views, set by Blackpink's "Kill This Love" just last week, but that they smashed it by nearly 22 million views.

The K-pop boy band superstars showed American audiences just how powerful the ARMY - that's what their fanbase is called - really is.

The music video, which features Halsey, has since received over 100 million views on the video platform.

The guys from BTS hit the stage for performances of their smash hit songs "Boy with Luv" and "Mic Drop" on Saturday Night Live's new episode on Saturday (April 13) in New York City.

Watching them perform (if you haven't before), it's easy to see what's so appealing.

This is a shout out to the ARMYs around the globe, who supported the BTS comeback with full-force and helped the boys achieve new records.
