Alleged Redmi flagship video leak shows punch hole display

Talking about specifications, the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro were launched in India recently at a starting price of Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively.

The device's display camera hole is placed at the top of the display, and it is centered, unlike on the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones and the HONOR View20. The company has teased the launch of an upcoming Redmi smartphone on its Twitter handle.

The tweet includes a video showing Manu Jain's 32 selfies with 32 Xiaomi Employees. #YYY? 1, 2, 3.damn, we can't keep count of people who feature in Manu's selfies. The new video teaser of the upcoming Y series hints that the smartphone will have a bigger battery that will last for more than a day in a single charge.

On achieving this feat, Raghu Reddy, Head of Category and Online Sales, Xiaomi India said, "We are delighted to be sharing yet another wonderful milestone achieved by our popular Redmi Note series of smartphones". Moreover, Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing also mentioned a Redmi phone with 32 MP front camera on his Weibo account.

Xiaomi has started teasing a new smartphone which is likely to be the Redmi Y3. The Mi Play series will debut in China, and the first smartphone - the Xiaomi Mi Play - is set to launch on December 24. Successor to the a year ago launched Redmi 6, the smartphone comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 720x1520 pixel resolution.

By now, it is known that Redmi is working on a flagship smartphone that will get the power from the Snapdragon 855 SoC. Users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera and dual-rear cameras including 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors.
