And, the device is kept alive by a 3100mAh battery, which supports 15W fast charging via USB Type-C port.

We already have a number of foldable smartphones on the market, like the Samsung Galaxy Fold and now Sharp has shown off a new prototype foldable smartphone display.

Samsung Electronics Philippines plans to release the Galaxy A70 at local retail sometime in May, we're told.

The A30 and A50 have been launched in the Philippines carrying attractive price tags, with the latter going for P17,990 (around $347) locally. The South Korean company hosted an event simultaneously in Milan, Sao Paulo and Bangkok where it unveiled the Galaxy A70 along with more premium Galaxy A80. The A70, on the other hand, will be sold for £369 (P25,071 or $484) in the United Kingdom starting April 26. We expect similar prices in the US.

The A80 is Samsung's first phone with a motorized camera system that automatically pops up and flips over from the rear when you want to snap a selfie. Samsung has actually reduced the bottom bezel a bit on Galaxy A70, as a result it offers 1080×2400 pixels resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio. The back is made of polycarbonate with glass-like finish.

Under the hood is an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC in the Galaxy A70. The Snapdragon 730 features six Kryo 460 cores running at speeds up to 2.2Ghz. Further, the Galaxy A70 includes 6GB or 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports microSD expansion of up to 512GB.

It also has a 3,700mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging with some smarts that optimize power consumption based on a user's habits and usage patterns.

As for the cameras, the Galaxy A20e features dual rear cameras comprising of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The company has also included a 32-megapixel front shooter for selfies with an f/2.0 lens. Even the back camera without the 48-megapixel was able to click great shots like the A80 in indoor lighting condition. So wait for our full review for the same. According to Samsung, Galaxy Fold supplies "will be limited". We are not sure of the pricing as yet, but it appears to be rivaling Vivo V15 Pro, Oppo F11 Pro and Nokia 8.1 for now.

Like most other Samsung phones, the screen on the Galaxy A70 is vibrant and punchy with nice vivid colours. In our brief usage, we did find the phone to be quite snappy and responsive. The display, cameras and software experience felt a good combination overall.
