Singh's new show is titled A Little Late With Lilly Singh and the hire will make Singh the only woman to now host a late-night talk show on a Big 4 broadcast network.

Singh revealed the news while appearing on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Thursday night. Lilly Singh is changing that ratio with her upcoming NBC show, 'A Little Late with Lilly Singh'.

NBC is going outside the box with its new late-night star.

"I'm so excited because I truly get to create a show from scratch", she added. "But I do think it's a little awesome for an Indian-Canadian woman also to get a show".

Jimmy Fallon welcomed the Indian-Canadian comedian to "The Tonight Show" to make the big announcement, and even let the network newbie slide behind his desk to give it a try. "Now that is a dream come true", Singh said in a press release. "We can't wait to get started". She has uploaded a range of viral videos (772 total) and comedic sketches like "Comedy Skit with Dr. Phil Gone Wrong" to "How To Make A Migos Song".

"I can't even believe I am writing this caption", she wrote.

NBC announced in February that Daly was stepping away from his late-night program Last Call with Carson Daly after a 17-year run to concentrate on his duties as host of the Orange Room on Today, as host and producer on The Voice and to spend more time with his family. "Throughout my life these have proven to be obstacles from time to time. This has been SO long in the making and I'm so happy I can finally share this with you".

The content creator also made headlines recently when she came out as bisexual to her 14.5 million subscribers and over 8 million IG followers. But now I'm fully embracing them as my superpowers. As an actress, she appeared in HBO's Fahrenheit 451, opposite Michael Shannon and Michael B. Jordan, and has co-starred in Bad Moms and Ice Age: Collision Course. She is also a New York Times bestselling author with her book "How To Be A Bawse: A Guide To Conquering Life".
