Toy Story 4 looks like the kick in the ol' tear ducts, with Woody questioning his goal in life after reuniting with Bo Peep and meeting a not-toy, Forky, who literally asks, "Why am I alive?"

Toy Story 4 has previously been described as a romantic comedy, that serves as a completely separate story from the emotionally-charged third film in the series. They are faced with an intruder in their group, Forky (voiced by Tony Hale), a spork-turned-craft-project, who is Bonnie's new favorite toy. He escapes when the family's vehicle is on the move during a road trip.

"You've got a friend in me" is how the old song goes.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the fourth film will see the addition of new characters like Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), Officer Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki) and the villain Gabby Gabby (Christina Hendricks).

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that's Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family's road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (Potts).

For those of us who have grown up with Disney and Pixar's Toy Story franchise, this next installment is pretty much a flawless example of the millennial experience, and we can't wait.
