Goals from Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw Unai Emery's side beat Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's outfit - their first league loss under the Norwegian - to jump above them in the table.

"Chelsea will have to go to Liverpool and to Manchester United as well".

Although contracted to United for another three months, Molde - now in the Norwegian off-season - say Solskjaer, who managed the club from 2011-2014 and from 2015 onwards, will take up a new contract with them in the summer.

Manchester United are set to announce Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club's new permanent manager this month, according to reports, with the club axing plans to name Jose Mourinho's permanent successor at the season's end.

It wasn't a ideal performance by any means, but like Tottenham last week, we again looked solid and the players again showed the necessary fight required as we go for the top 4.

"It has been fantastic so far but today is the the lowest we have been because we lost and missed the chance to put pressure on Spurs".

Tottenham were originally due to be back in action this weekend but their game against Crystal Palace has been rescheduled with the Eagles playing in the FA Cup against Watford. There are still eight games and we want to win every game.

Emery was understandably delighted with the victory, while singling out goalkeeper Bernd Leno for extra praise.

"David is too professional to let his mind wander", Solskjaer said in his post-match press conference. "I think we can enjoy the support, today I think they helped us but we need to do it with respect".

"You don't want to see it again. we knew before the game about our chance because United had one more point than us".

The Arsenal fans - who were in good form throughout - were chanting that they are coming for their arch rivals Spurs and the Gunner's boss was asked if he believed they could catch them and he said: "Yes we are positive". We can feel very proud of all our players.
