Turin- Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone warned on Monday that there was more to Juventus than striker Cristiano Ronaldo as the Spanish side look to "seize their opportunity" in Turin and maintain their push for a first Champions League title.

But Ronaldo, who joined the Old Lady from Real Madrid last summer, bagged a hat-trick to send the Serie A giants through. However, following a VAR review it was declared that Ronaldo had fouled Jan Oblak in the build-up.

All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo, but perhaps they shouldn't be in this case.

Do you think Juventus can go on to win the tournament?

Ronaldo, jeered almost every time he touched the ball, had a quiet performance in his first match in the Spanish capital since leaving Real Madrid last summer.

Atletico have injury worries but Simeone said central defender Diego Godin was fit to play.

That miss was punished four minutes after the restart when goal-line technology ruled Oblak failed to keep out another Ronaldo header, Joao Cancelo this time providing the cross.

This will require another superhuman effort from Cristiano Ronaldo, but if anyone can muster up those vital goals, it is him.

Juventus have progressed in a Champions League knockout tie having lost the first leg for the first time since 2005-06 v Werder Bremen. Kean was the star performer for Juventus as he scored 2 goals.

With four minutes left, Bernardeschi powered into the Atlético area, was pushed in the back by Angel Correa and Ronaldo blasted home the penalty. It shocked the fans inside Wanda Metropolitano.

Ronaldo is a modern day Champions League god, and owns a bunch of impressive records.
