Below you can find the full release note of the Patch version 1.01 for the Devil May Cry 5.

The director on Devil May Cry 5 has given fresh hope to a Nintendo Switch port of the critically acclaimed hack-'n-slash title.

Now, in yet another interview with German magazine M!, Itsuno has stirred the pot some more by saying that the latest DMC game would be considered for the Switch but only if Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen sells well enough.

As for why the game is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC but not Switch, it's because of Capcom not having access to Switch development kits when it all started.

It looks like Capcom is still keen on releasing the game on Nintendo Switch, although they have now stated that any release would depend on how well Dragon's Dogma sells on the Switch. And his answer spoke in support of Capcom's next release on Switch. The team is known for doing things based on player feedback.

As shared by the English outlet, we see that the game is running at 4K resolution on Xbox One X, but only through a reconstruction technique (like checkerboard rendering). This release is identical to those release for PS3 and Xbox 360 which was an expanded version of Dragon's Dogma. The original Dark Arisen was also directed by Itsuno, so perhaps he was simply making a joke and attempting to get players to buy another of his games.

Devil May Cry 5 is out March 8, with Bloody Palace DLC set to release in April.
