The following eight teams are in the draw: AFC Ajax, Barcelona, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Porto, and Tottenham.

On that occasion, Chelsea beat Liverpool to reach the last four, before losing to eventual winners Barcelona in the semis, while Manchester United and Arsenal emerged from their quarterfinals to meet in the last four, with United prevailing before losing to Barca in the final.


Ajax, Barcelona, Juventus and Porto complete the quarter-final line-up, and Milner hopes as many English teams as possible make the last four. "But it has been a top league and there haven't been that many teams [in the latter stages] of this one".
