While fans filed in and waited for Grande to take to the stage and start the show, Grande made sure that Miller's songs were playing in the background.

Ariana enjoyed a short-lived engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete, who she dated for five months before they split in October - a month after the shock death of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller. Most notably, Grande sings "Even nearly got married / And for Pete, I'm so thankful / Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm / 'Cause he was an angel" on her hit single "Thank U, Next".

Since Miller's death in September 2018 of an accidental overdose, Grande has posted numerous tributes to the late rapper, including a cryptic message on social media on his birthday, January 19. Which yeah, is super emotional and heart-breaking. "Aaaaand they're playing Mac Miller at the Ariana Grande concert". While the pop star didn't actually attend the event, she shared a bunch of photos in her Cinderella-esque gown that fans were positive honored Miller. Grande even paid tribute to Miller with her 2019 Grammy Awards dress.

This latest tribute is beyond heartwarming, though.

Thought you had no tears left to cry about Ariana Grande and Mac Miller? Ariana debuted the tattoo during a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the "Thank U, Next" music video, showing her friends and saying "Look at my Myron".
