When it comes to Fire TV, you have a few options in terms of hardware; this guide will focus on how to set up the Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, but if you're in the U.S., you'll also be able to buy the hands-free smart speaker/streaming box hybrid, the Fire TV Cube.

Apple is continuing its big push in services, launching its Apple Music streaming services on Amazon's Fire TV devices. To set it up, enable the Apple Music skill inside the Alexa app and link your accounts.

To access Apple Music on your Fire TV just ask "Alexa, play today's hits on Apple Music" or "Alexa, play music by Bebe Rexha on Apple Music".

"Apple Music subscribers will be able to enjoy Apple Music's 50 million songs on Echo devices".

If you're using a Fire TV Cube, you can also use it as part of a multi-room music setup. It was only in December that Apple Music came to Echo devices, and with Apple's rumoured video streaming service due to launch, we suspect the company will want to continue opening up its services to other platforms. Google Home devices is a potential, as we saw a few weeks ago.

Apple's on the offensive with services right now. While new subscribers get a three-month free trial, the service does require a $9.99 monthly subscription.

"Apple Music's many features make this service a strong contender in its category, one that challenges our Editors' Choices, Slacker Radio and Spotify", we wrote.

Along with this music streaming plan, it's thought Apple could soon launch a similar service for video.
