The league consists of eight teams and all of these players are getting recognition and work that they wouldn't otherwise get - so kudos to the AAF for putting this league together.

Wolford finished the night completing 18 of 29 attempts for 275 yards and scores of 5, 36, 4 and 30 yards with a pair of two-point conversion passing scores sprinkled in. The Commanders defense recorded three interceptions, six sacks against the Mike Martz-led squad, and delivered this devastating hit on San Diego QB Mike Bercovici. Ross had five receptions for 103 yards in the game.

Hill started and had seven tackles as a starter for the Orlando Apollos. Moore and Harris both entered the National Football League with the Broncos in 2011.

The first set of games came this weekend, and Hackenberg was the starting signal caller for the Memphis Express against the Birmingham Iron on Sunday afternoon.

Birmingham is coached by Tim Lewis.

Former star Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg made his Alliance of American Football league debut this afternoon.

K Nick Folk, still just 34-years-old, drilled 53-yard field goal. For the rest of the regular season, the AAF will be on TNT, NFL Newtork, CBS Sports Network or the streaming B/R Live service, and it's fair to assume that none of those outlets will ever get 2.9 million viewers for an AAF game.
