Samsung presents Galaxy Tab S5e, the entertainment tablet equipped with Bixby 2.0.

The high-end nature of the Tab S5e comes in its design.

The new tablet will be available in Black, Silver, and Gold color options and is expected to be priced at $400 which will be cheaper than its predecessors. We've seen Samsung skimp on the display on previous affordable tablets, so we're glad to see AMOLED here. Apparently, the S5e will come in two different models - one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device sports a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP shooter on the front.

The Tab S5e gets a total of four speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology where the hardware is tuned by AKG.

The Android Pie-based One IU update has just rolled out thanks to Samsung, and it is available for the Galaxy Note 9, S9, and S9 Plus not too much time ago. Bixby 2.0 apparently offers "a smarter and more convenient way to interact with your device, and serves as an ideal hub to control your connected home device". The tablet also packs 7,040 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Samsung is also offering YouTube Premium service free for up to 4 months and Spotify Premium for 3 months when you purchase this device. There is no audio jack but there is a Type-C connector in the box. The S5e also features Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, GPS and also houses a fingerprint scanner (embedded in the power key), accelerometer, hall sensor and RGB light sensor. Whereas, the LTE variant will start at 479 Euros (approximately Rs 38,600). Additionally, the tablet packs dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and can connect with an external keyboard via the pogo pin port. Couple this with Samsung DeX, and you've got the promise of a desktop-like experience. However, compatibility with the company's S Pen stylus is missing. The pricing of the LTE model for the U.S. market is not known, but Samsung Germany's website states that Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e LTE version will start at Euro 479 (roughly Rs. 38,600). The newly announced Galaxy Tab S5e draws a lot of inspiration from its Apple competitor but manages to forgo the hefty price tag. Moreover, the slim bezels and 16:10 aspect ratio aid for an impressive 81.8% screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB internal storage expandable up to 400GB via a microSD card.

Wrapping up loose specs that we haven't covered in the list above, we've got dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and Global Positioning System.
