Meghan's half-brother Thomas Jr has admitted the relationship between the father and daughter is now "broken beyond repair".

Meghan Markle's letter to her father has just revealed how vulnerable the Duchess of Sussex really is, especially when it comes to her family. He's never called; he's never texted.

The Duchess owns copyright of the handwritten letter under United Kingdom law which was brought to light after five of her friends spoke about it for the first time in an interview with USA magazine People.

"I pleaded with you to stop reading the tabloids".

And now Thomas Markle has admitted that his daughter did try to contact him last August with a letter, shortly after her wedding. "Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can fix our relationship.' Because every time her team has to come to her and fact-check something [he has said], it's an arrow to the heart", the insider told the outlet. "You've said I never helped you financially and you've never asked me for help which is also untrue", the note reads. "Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband", the duchess wrote.

In the interview, Meghan's friends said that her father never called or texted her - something he denies.

According to the letter attributed to Markle, the royal refutes some other specific claims he's made, writing, "You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called". He says, 'When I opened the letter I was hoping it was the olive branch I'd longed for, ' he said last night. He told the outlet that the letter left him "devastated".

The Duchess also voiced her sadness at her dad in the letter for siding with her half-sister Samantha, who has repeatedly hit out at the Duchess, while she "silently suffered at the hand of her vicious lies".

Now, Markle is "at her wit's end".

In this week's cover story of People, a former co-star dished on Markle's "team player" attitude and revealed that she enjoys boosting the moods of her staff at Kensington Palace.

Until evidence proves us wrong, we'd like to believe the latter, that Meghan is in fact, not hard to work with and that her work ethic is just one that many are still acclimatising to or something along those lines.
