Leonard was drafted fifth by James and will be a starter for the game.

They may face long odds to ever becoming teammates, but Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James will again get to share the court in an NBA All-Star Game. James got the first pick among the pool of starters by nature of being the league's leading vote-getter, while Antetokounmpo got the first pick once it time to pick reserves. The picks will invariably fuel speculation heading into the offseason and Davis will still seek a trade from the New Orleans Pelicans, and Irving is on track to become an unrestricted free agent.

James managed to make a trade, convincing Antetokounmpo to swap Westbrook for Simmons - and give the Bucks' star the chance to have Westbrook and Embiid together, as he said he wanted. James took Wade, his former Miami and Cleveland teammate and longtime close friend.

Aldridge went ahead of four other all-star players and Dwayne Wade and Dirk Nowitzki who are special additions to the roster.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (23) drives on Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young (21) during the first half of an NBA basketball game in Indianapolis, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019. Dirk Nowitzki will play for Team Giannis in the same role.

"Kevin Durant", Antetokounmpo said.
