Epic Games is also bringing another surprise for all players which is that they will receive double XP during the weekends of February 15-17 and 22-24.

Valentine's Day is coming early to Fortnite: Battle Royale. The event will include special rewards and challenges for players over the next few weeks. The developer has also announced a Share the Love Competitive Series, with placement matches set to take place on February 9 and 10. Anyone who completes these before the end of the season will receive the Valentine Wrap, Vines Contrail, and three more yet to be announced rewards. This will also be one of the first times that players will get a chance to see some of the new features being added to the game's tournament system with the v7.40 update. If you haven't already put a support-a-creator code into your client, you're missing out on a free Cuddle Hearts Wrap to put on your weapons.

Fortnite is getting romantic this month in the Share the Love event. Players will receive the item wrap when the v7.40 update releases and Epic Games assures players that it will be keeping a count of all the players who are eligible. Those with the Season 7 Battle Pass will be able to unlock new styles for the Trog, Powder, and Onesie outfits. With the new season, a new Fortnite Battle Pass will be available which will let you have access to new exclusive skins and emotes. Players who perform well during these placement matches will be placed directly into the higher divisions, with four divisions running simultaneously each day; from lowest to highest, these divisions are Open Division, Prospect Division, Contender Division, and Champion Division, and players can unlock the next division by earning a pin during a daily session.

Look out for special sprays related to the "Share the Love" Competitive Series for each division of the competition! .

Wait there more! Fortnite Creative will be celebrating the creativity of the community with a rotating set of featured islands every day. The blog post says it's "right before the arrival of Season 8" which could mean that Season 7 ends on February 28 when the 8.0 patch drops but that's still unconfirmed.
