He tweeted: "So yeah, Gervonta Davis is the best 130-pounder on the planet".

And it appears Mayweather is setting up another exhibition bout for Nasukawa.

He raised the stakes Saturday night when he fought Hugo Ruiz for the WBA super featherweight championship.

Mayweather did not offer any other details, such as the specific location, date, number of rounds, or contract weight, but he said the exhibition would be put on in conjunction with the Rizin Fighting Federation, the same Japanese combat sports promoter that put on his December 31 match with Nasukawa.

"The opponent change didn't really affect me", Davis said this week.

Floyd Mayweather made sure everyone jammed into this tiny space received the same message - if there's one fighter in boxing that can surpass his superstar status, it's Davis.

Whilst the fight details have yet to be released, it promises to be another money-making venture for Mayweather, the former five-weight world champion.

"We don't know", he said when asked who Davis would fight in his second defense. Bogere also had to deal with a cut on his right eyebrow due to an accidental headbutt in the sixth round as well and was not able to overcome it and get the victory.

Davis, unbeaten with a record of 20-0 with 19 knockouts, came in at 130.2 pounds in his first appearance on the scale, but returned to weigh in under the 130-pound limit at 129.8.

The Japanese was unceremoniously beaten by Mayweather on New Year's Eve, who needed just 136 seconds to force Tenshin's corner to throw in the towel.

Mayweather said that he earned $9 million - plus a $1 million bonus - for the exhibition with Nasukawa and said he would likely participate in future exhibition fights. I got a bonus!'
