Apparently, the expensive gifts and romantic gestures were not the actions that changed her heart. Yes, Cardi thought the rock legend, who passed away in 2017, had sent her flowers.

After the Grammys, Cardi B began posting supportive comments from fellow rappers like Chance the Rapper, Lil' Kim and Missy Elliot. "So happy for you, u made history and u brought ur husband onstage who i saw literally making phone calls and trips to make sure n***** did right by u and turned they verses in on time". "I read an article that Mac Miller's family said that if he don't win, they want me to win so I'm sharing this Grammy with you motherf***er".

The note attached to the bouquet featured lyrics from the hook of Petty's 1996 track 'Walls (Circus)', "You've got a heart so big it could crush this town". However, it seems Cardi actually believed Petty wrote the note and sent the flowers himself.

Someone at BET (clearly a Cardi fan) took to the network's official Twitter account to throw shade Nicki's way.

We all tuned in when Kulture Kiari's dad crashed Cardi B's groundbreaking Rolling Loud Festival performance.

At the beginning of her remarks on the Instagram video, Cardi B appeared to be referring to another controversy regarding rapper Nicki Minaj and the BET network. "Now this year's a (expletive) problem?"

Minaj's last album, 2018's Queen, was recently certified platinum by the Recording Institute of America, signifying sales and streams of more than one million, her fourth consecutive album to reach that benchmark.

Minaj was not pleased, and today she took to Twitter to publicly pull out of the BET Concert Experience show.

Count Lady Gaga in the Cardi B camp after the rapper drew backlash over her Grammy win.

As a outcome of the awards' actions, Minaj has pulled out of performing.

"It's not my style to put other people down to uplift someone else, that's not my style, that's not what I'm with and I don't support that".
