The singer chose to perform The Rolling Stones' song "Wild Horses".

A third wrote: "I pray you win the champion".

The Scottish star made it to the final but came in second second place to Ashley Banjo's dance crew Diversity.

Mel told her: "I just want to say what an absolute honour and pleasure it is to be sitting here and listening to you".

'If you don't love Susan Boyle at her BGT then you don't deserve her on AGT, ' Terry told his 1.1million followers on Twitter.

After the performance, Cowell, 59, said: "I can not think of any other contestant who has defined this show better than you".

Susan Boyle returned to the stage on "America's Got Talent" and received the prestigious "Golden Buzzer".

Her first audition, a rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, famously stunned the audience and judges alike.

The Scottish singer, who rose to worldwide fame with her second-place finish on Season 3 of Britain's Got Talent, returned to the competition stage for the first time in nine years-and it was nothing short of awe-inspiring.

SuBo's television comeback has been hotly anticipated for months now and she shared a 'beautiful' moment with Simon Cowell when they reunited on the show.

Asked if she saw herself as a champion, Susan said: "For those who, maybe, don't have the confidence to do things, for those that don't have a voice, the ones who people tend to ignore".

Boyle said she made a decision to return to the show for a second chance and how she would "love to win" this time. However, all the attention catapulted her into the spotlight, where she released her debut album I Dreamed a Dream.

And with that, Susan Boyle is back.

Since the show, Boyle has sold more than 20 million albums and had two Grammy nominations.

It just goes to show that one performance on a talent show, like Boyle's iconic 2009 audition, really can change a person's life forever.
