Tech giant Samsung upped its game this year at the CES show in Las Vegas by unveiling its massive, 219-inch TV called "The Wall".

"The Wall 2019 takes personalization to the next level, with modular panels that consumers can position in any size or shape to meet their needs", the company said in a statement. "This is our R9 signature OLED TV for 2019", an LG spokesperson added.

Samsung " s new whopping 219-inch MicroLED TV is nicknamed as "The Wall'.

It wouldn't be a CES roundup without mention of 8K. The TV's shown at the event were bigger and more innovative than ever before, and hence are likely to come with an expensive price tag.

Televisions are always a big star at CES.

Sony's Master Series Z9G doesn't care though - seeing as it has an advanced machine learning algorithm for upscaling to 8K, and the hefty X1 Ultimate processor to power it. 8K resolution delivers the most realistic pictures that look sharp, vivid, and detailed.

Hisense is increasingly making a case for itself beyond budget TVs. Last year, Samsung had also announced a 146-inch modular display.
