If you enjoy the game you'll also be able to preorder before the release date on January 25, earning you some extra Samurai Edge handgun skins. This demo will be different than the one that Capcom released last month and was exclusively playable on Xbox One.

Resident Evil 2 will be receiving a new one-shot demo soon on PC, Xbox One and PS4. It's a timed demo that allows you to experience the early portion of the game for 30 minutes before the demo cuts itself off.

Bearing the title of "1-Shot Demo" players will be tasked with surviving "the horrors of Raccoon City" for 30 minutes. The trailer can be viewed any number of times even after the 30 minute timer expires. Usually, these are just the full game only on a timer - typically one hour.

This sort of stressful demo might be a great way to introduce players to the wonderfully horrific series that is Resident Evil. That demo is no longer available to download, but you can play it if it's still on your console's hard drive.

Players will be put in the shoes of rookie cop Leon Kennedy as he explores the terror that has overtaken Raccoon City Police Department. However, once a player starts the demo, they'll only have 30 minutes to complete the main gameplay objective.

"Leon must survive vicious zombies and solve puzzles to find safe passage out of the station". If you become a zombie snack, you'll be able to continue as much as you'd like until you hit the time limit. So be quick if you want to give the game a good test run before it officially releases.

Essentially, the demo is time-limited to 30 minutes, win or lose.
