"It was incredible what they did today", Goff said of the Rams' running backs.

They ended up surrendering 273 yards to Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson, which allowed L.A.to dominate the time of possession. Dallas entered with the fifth-best rushing defense in the National Football League, allowing 94.6 yards per game.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star claims to be a big Dallas Cowboys fan.

The Cowboys deserve some credit for fighting back in the second half and making it a game, but they couldn't do enough and fell short 30-22. They were especially impressive in limiting the vaunted Cowboys running game to just 50 yards.

Things got pretty heated between Rams corner Marcus Peters and Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper as the two got into a scuffle at the end of their playoff matchup on Saturday.

Against the Cowboys, Goff returned to his efficient and effective form, displayed in the first 11 weeks before he hit a late-season slump.

Elliott was held to 47 yards on 20 rushes for the Cowboys.

Ahead 23-15 in the fourth quarter, Rams head coach Sean McVay chose to go for it on a fourth-and-goal from the Dallas 1-yard line, and the gamble paid off. Anderson's second touchdown run made it 30-15 with 7:16 remaining.

"We played against a really good front", Elliott said. After a 3-5 start, they reeled off a 7-1 record and then took out the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the playoffs.
